What is KiRa ransomware?
This ransomware discovered by anti-ransomware Whitedefender while investigating cyber security threats is [KiRa Ransomware].
Kira ransomware is a carefully crafted ransomware that uses strong encryption of all important file types. After encryption, a “read it!!!.txt” ransom note file is created and users are encouraged to view it in all areas. Four random characters, for example, the file "IMG521.jpg" is encoded as "IMG521.jpg.0wv8" into four random strings using numbers and English letters.
This ransomware changes the user's desktop. The ransom note informs you that this PC has been infected with ransomware and all files have been encrypted, and that you must purchase a decryptor with Bitcoin to decrypt the files.
